Toshin Rao is a filmmaker specializing in the absurd, surreal, and the ordinary. Influenced by animation, films of the early-to-mid 20th century, and classic literature, Toshin Rao hopes to make films that focus on story. Toshin primarily shoots his projects on 16mm motion picture film. 

 

Originally from Seattle, Washington, Toshin is currently based in

Los Angeles, California. In addition to his short films, Toshin works as

a camera tech, storyboard artist, first/second assistant camera, and film loader.
